Since our last report, things have gone will for Expormim. In 2021, we got the Spanish National Design Award, the highest recognition a design company can qualify for in our country. In 2022, we were bestowed a German Design Award as “Sustainable Brand of the Year”. This award in particular meant a much positive reinforcement to the pillars of design and sustainability, both so deeply linked to our philosophy and our brand.
But there are several more accomplishments. For instance, our company has been certified to ISO 14001 and 33% of our energy consumption already comes from the photovoltaic plant installed in 2022. We are now set for new goals, such as the Carbon Footprint Study that will allow us to measure and cut our emissions until we reach the net zero in 2030 or the consolidation of our own circular economy through the enhancement of recycling. Indeed green is the new black.
