The moment one summer ends, the next summer starts and that means we must focus on our new outdoor catalogue and its main novelties. It’s a cycle, a wheel spinning non-stop throughout the year.

new outdoor catalogue: where the next summer starts

Because our catalogues are slow cooked with loving care and even the tiniest variation or adjustment goes under the microscope. Because we want our outdoor catalogue to be not only a source of inspiration, but a reliable tool for the challenges posed by outdoor design.

Obi: two new dining armchairs and a premium belt

Obi family, the outdoor seating collection by Ludovica + Palomba inspired by the belt of the traditional Japanese kimono, grows this year with the addition of two dining armchairs. Both are very similar: their structure is made of high resistance aluminium profile and the backrest is a reminiscence of the tight belt characteristic of this outdoor collection. The difference is in the legs. One of the dining armchairs has four slender, slightly cone-shaped legs, while the other has a sled base for further stability. As for the rest of pieces in the family (easy chair, two-seater sofas, XL sofas and the varied assortment of modules), we have developed a signature Premium Belt: a new textured band carefully sewn by hand and wider than the original. The result is even more Japanese and elegant if possible.

Freshen up with Plump 22.5º module

Plump modular sofa by Studio expormim is one of our senior outdoor seating collections. It already offers a wide range of different compositions, but it was time for something special. Plump outdoor family has been constantly upgraded over the years. Yet we felt it needed some freshening up. This is how we came with the idea of a 22.5º module. What can you expect? Further composition options (by connecting two 22.5º modules it is possible to generate a 45º degree angle), an even more contemporary and innovative look, and of course, more rhythm and dynamism.

Keep playing with Grada side tables

Grada outdoor tables by Lievore Altherr Molina are, if something, playful. They were designed to test users’ boldness, to make them mix and match at their own will knowing there is not trial and error here but a lot of valid results. This collection of outdoor side tables introduces this year an oval-shaped tabletop in three different sizes. The new Grada coffee tables are bigger and come in two heights in order to multiply compositional options. Serving suggestion: try them with the new Plump 22.5º module and the round Grada side tables. They will blow your mind.

All the sides of Talo dining table

Talo by Altherr Désile Park is one of our big size table collection. The original ones were already monolithic in their conception, but we wanted to go a step further by adding two more models to this family: one heptagonal and one octagonal table. They’re big like mammoths, they look carved by the wind and the passage of time like the prehistoric megaliths they resemble. Geometry adds a touch of beauty and distinction to these two new versions of Talo outdoor dining table. A piece to behold.

Terra, go big… and go far

Rugs are automatically connected to winter atmospheres, but they also fit wonderfully in an outdoor setting. The new Terra rug by Studio expormim is made with a blend of braided polypropylene ropes meaning it has been designed to withstand the elements and the wear and tear of public spaces. Terra is our biggest carpet to date and it comes in two different sizes. It is a very simple design with just one decorative concession: two strips in a darker colour. Its earthy tones and undulating surface bring to mind a desert landscape with infinite sand dunes. Thus its name, Terra.
