Joaquim Belsa. 1961-2024

Our reeditions are a way of not forgetting, recovering and updating our heritage. This one also wants to shed light on a little known pioneer of Spanish design: Joaquim Belsa, founder of Aresta. He was one of the first to notice the potential of rattan as a valid material for modern design. He would use canes of different width and a single stroke method to create his objects. By reediting his Bench 202 we pay tribute to Belsa’s figure and innovative approach to rattan.
