“Without durability, there is no sustainability.” At Expormim, we are convinced that sustainability has everything to do with manufacturing pieces of furniture of excellent, timeless design and premium quality, so that they remain with us as long as possible.
Our strategic framework is as simple or as complex, it all depends on how you look at it, such as preserving our ethical commitment and going deeper into sustainable development, while offering solutions to the demands of our stakeholders.

Expormim’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy refers to our commitment as an organization and the impact that, inevitably, our business activity has on our environment and on society.
Our CSR is based on different policies and specific codes of action whose purpose is to respond to the needs of information expressed by our stakeholders and intervention groups in such relevant matters as environment.
Our CSR is supported both by our corporate governance and by social action as well as by the will of preserving natural resources. Hence, the adoption of holistic measures encompassing at the same time economic, social and environmental aspects.

PEFC certificate

Expormim is a PEFC certified company (PEFC/14-35-00549). PEFC is the most implemented forest certification system worldwide. PEFC takes into account every link in the supply chain to promote good practices in the woodlands and ensure all forest materials are produced in compliance with the highest environmental, social and ethical standards.

FSC® certificate

Expormim is FSC® certified (FSC® C164846). The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) Certificate is a sustainable forest certification system promoted by timber producing and trading companies as well as by environmental and human rights organizations concerned about the loss and degradation of our planet’s forests. FSC®’s official mission is “to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests”.

ISO 14001:2015 certificate

Expormim has obtained the Environmental Management System certification ISO 14001: 2015. This international standard proves our commitment to protecting the environment by better managing the environmental risk associated with the activity we perform.

ISO 9001:2015 certificate

Since 2008, Expormim is also certified by the ISO 9001:2015 standard granted by the international organization SGS. This standard establishes the fundamental principles that determine the quality of a product in order to control and improve the performance of our organization and lead it towards excellence.
